All About Me
After graduation in England, I worked as a seismic engineer for Raytheon Corp. I worked in environments as diverse as North Sea oil rigs, the mountains in Switzerland, the South African desert, and the jungles of Borneo. Although I enjoyed this work immensely my heart was not in it and I came to America to teach in Chicago in 1996. I have taught all the sciences since then and started teaching Project Lead The Way engineering in 2018. I have a BSc in Geophysics from Lancaster University and a MEd in Education from St. Xavier. I even went to Yale. (for 1 week in 2004) I love my job-- I love the students we have at Mather and am very excited about what the future holds.
I am married and have four children varying in age from 24 to 4. My passions are building things, travel, archaeology and playing & refereeing soccer.
I teach Exploring Computer Science, Introduction to Engineering Design and Principles of Engineering
I am also the co-coach of the Robotics Club w. Mr. Ikramullah.
