Welcome
Greetings! My name is Mary Rose O'Shea, and I am an English language arts teacher here at Mather High School. Mather has been my professional home since 2004, and I am consistently grateful for the opportunity to work with the amazing young people who walk through our doors each day, year after year.
Currently, I teach English III for juniors, AP English Literature & Composition, and an Academic Ddecathlon companion course, Interdisciplinary Studies. I also serve as an instructional coach and participate in the Instructional Leadership Team. Outside of the classroom, I coach Mather's Academic Decathlon team, co-facilitate the Mather Literacy Center with Mrs. Belmonte, and sponsor Mather Astronomy and the National English Honor Society.
