Complete the tables on the electronic handout provided. You will need your periodic table.

This is a brief survey to gather feedback on remote learning to help me improve my instruction.

There are 2 parts to this handout. Part 1: Name the formula and list the amount of each element in the formula. Part 2: Use the table and balance each equation. There are five problems. Show your work in the table and put the correct coefficients on the equation.

4. Read all directions on the handout and familiarize yourself with the simulation.

You must have accepted the invite to Quizizz to complete the quiz. You will have 2 attempts to do the quiz. Have your periodic table with you. All questions are timed. You have until May 12th to complete it.

We are continuing to look at understanding chemical reactions. This week we will classify the 5 different types to deepen our understanding. Synthesis, Decomposition, Single Replacement, Double Replacement and Combustion. I will lecture the material (powerpoint attached) and you will have practice problems to complete. There is also a YouTube video on Types of Chemical Reactions that you can reference.
