About Ms. Moraru

Ms. Simona Moraru earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from North Park University, a social studies certification in Secondary Education from Northeastern Illinois University and a Masters in school counseling from National Luis University.  Ms. Moraru has spent over 25 years working in the Chicago Public School district with a majority of her tenure teaching history at Mather High School. Ms. Moraru strives on a daily bias to instill within her students a deep appreciation for the academic arts and a mastery of the academic skills needed to become successful adults later in life.
