Meet Ms. Hill

Hello! My name is Lisa Hill. I am an AVID and English 1 teacher at Mather High School. I am honored to be a part of such a diverse community of learners and educators. 

 

After growing up in Clemson, SC, I was ready to spread my wings. I attended University of South Carolina from 2008-2012, where I received my Bachelors degree in English Language & Literature. Upon graduating, I moved to Atlantic City, NJ where I worked in casino marketing for 3 years. In 2014, I decided to continue my education in Athens, GA. In 2016, I received my Masters degree from the University of Georgia. I stayed in Athens and taught for 3 years at Clarke Central High School. I recently moved to the Chicago area, and I am thrilled to have landed in such a supportive environment.
